These Terms govern your use of Interplate (the "Service"), operated by Interplate, LLC ("Interplate", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Interplate. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with a parent or guardian's consent.
2. Your account
- You're responsible for anything that happens under your account.
- Keep your password confidential and use a real email address so we can reach you.
- Nicknames and profile pictures may be changed once every 30 days.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the plates, descriptions, comments, and images you submit ("Your Content"). By posting, you grant Interplate a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute Your Content on the Service. You promise you have the right to grant this license and that Your Content doesn't violate anyone else's rights or our Site Guidelines.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: post prohibited content described in the Guidelines, attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service, scrape at volume without written permission, or use the Service to harass or dox anyone.
5. Interplater Pro
Interplater Pro is a one-time $5 upgrade purchased through PayPal. It grants the additional features described on the account page. It is non-transferable. Refunds are handled case-by-case; email us within 14 days of purchase to request one.
6. Donations
Donations made through our donation page are voluntary, are not payments for goods or services, and are non-refundable.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Guidelines. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Content you posted may remain on the Service after your account is removed.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI verification is an automated best-effort check and may produce false positives or negatives; we don't guarantee that a "Verified" plate is truly the poster's plate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Interplate is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $20 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
